WAFR 2020 Submission Instructions

Manuscript submission

We are handling submissions through Easy Chair. Papers must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) at our Submission Site in Easy Chair according to the following deadlines (UTC-12 or Anywhere on Earth):

  • January 10, 2020. Authors are encouraged to submit paper title, authors and abstract
  • January 15, 2020. Paper submission deadline
  • May 15, 2020. Final manuscripts for the WAFR conference
  • July 15, 2020. Camera-ready manuscript for the SPAR book

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using the Springer Proceedings in Advanced Robotics (SPAR) format. You can download the style/template files below:

Submissions should not exceed 16 pages in this format. Although in the initial submissions it was possible to submit supplementary material, no supplementary material will be included in the book.

Supplementary material

In the submissions before the conference, supplementary material (appendices with supportive proofs or multimedia files) can be submitted together with the main manuscript. While encouraged, the program committee members are not required to check the supplementary material in order to prepare their comments. No supplementary material will be included in the book.
