The Northeast Robotics Colloquium (NERC) brings together the roboticists in the northeastern United States and Canada, in an event that is simultaneously a research meeting, a networking event, a job-fair, and a showcase for established and up-and-coming robot companies. We hope to promote the kind of healthy and well-connected robotics community that will fuel the field’s rapid growth in the coming decade!

The 7th annual Northeast Robotics Colloquium (NERC) will be held on the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick, New Jersey on October 20, 2018. In particular, the meeting will take place at the Rutgers Academic Building. Please find below the address and a map of the location.
The Rutgers Academic Building is 10 minutes walking distance from the New Brunswick train station, which is serviced by NJ Transit and Amtrak. If you are using Amtrak, which directly connects to Boston, New Haven, NYC and Philadelphia, it may be easier to find a train that stops at Metropark, NJ. At the Metropark station, you can transfer to a local NJ Transit train that stops at New Brunswick. There is also frequent bus connection between New Brunswick to New York City. If you’re driving, then you should take I-95 and take exit 9 towards Route 18 and New Brunswick.
You can register through the online registration.
Attendance (Online registration: Deadline October 17): Regular academic registration costs $50. It is reduced to $15 for undergraduates, high school students, high school teachers, and family members over 12. It is free for family members under 12. On-site registration costs an additional $20. Lunch will be provided.
Poster (Deadline October 17): If you are interested in presenting a poster of your work at NERC, please register and use the poster/presentation submission form. Topics can be anything related to robotics. Please note posters should be three feet by four feet.
